 I am privileged to be the music director here at Old Paths Baptist Church. Our goal is to move forward on an "old path". That translates not just in our preaching, but also in our singing. We sing from old fashioned hymnals. We do not project words on a screen. We truly focus on having church the way it used to be. God doesn't change, so why do we try and change the way we worship Him. We focus on an old time "Gospel Hour" from congregational music to special groups and solos. As the music director, I have the goal of growing the involvement while not forgetting our true purpose - To Praise, Honor, and Love the Lord while pointing others to Him. Through His Blood, His resurrection - Church, the way it used to be! |
